Can Casting kit be used for a child over 9 months old?

Yes, casting kit can be used for a child up to 3 years old, additional molding material and plaster needs to be purchased to achieve a good result.

What can be done to prevent the cast from breaking?

To prevent the cast from breaking, add more plaster powder and less water into plaster/water mixture, it has to be the consistency of paint or sour cream. Make a deep imprint or add a second layer of plaster mixture on top of the first to make the cast thicker, that will make the cast stronger and it will not break.

Is this casting kit safe for newborns?

Yes, the molding material is hypoallergenic and non-toxic, it is absolutely safe for newborns.

I didn't get a good imprint on a first try, can I reuse molding material again?

Absolutely! Molding material is reusable, you can have as many tries as you like until you get a desired result.
